Walk Update

What is happening?

As of Monday 19th July, England transitioned into Step 4 of the government’s roadmap for the easing of lockdown. As a result of restrictions being lifted considerably, there is now no limit on the number of people who can take part in outdoor activities.

What does this mean for Walks?

Whilst it is brilliant to be able to offer our Walks to as many people as possible, the number of people per a group will continue to be at the discretion of the group Walk Leader.

Although restrictions have been lifted, it is vital we continue to respect the health and safety of our community and its members. If you or an individual in your household are experiencing COVID-19 symptoms, please stay at home and follow the NHS and Government guidelines.

Thank You

We have been overwhelmed by the ongoing support from this community throughout these unprecedented times. If the pandemic has shed light on anything, it is the strength and willingness of this community to stand together, even when we were physically apart. Mental Health Mates is a beautiful example of the best humanity has to offer.

We are thrilled to be continuing our Walks so that our Mental Health Mates can continue to share, listen, connect and walk together!
